Services

The British Institute offers an English Language Proficiency Evaluation Service (ELPES)
for companies who would like to conduct an English Language Assessment for their existing employees or as part of the recruitment process.

We provide:

  • a multiple choice English language test
  • a Writing Assessment
  • a Speaking Assessment


With these tools we can provide you with detailed individual reports on each candidate, which will help you place the right person in the right position.

The assessors are our experienced native speaker instructors, who hold a Cambridge ESOL Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), or equivalent.
